10 Hours sounds good, but Apple does seem to have a way of overstating these things

I have an iPhone 3G according to Apples device specifications this is the battery life I should get, I find these numbers to way overstated from reality. So I find the 10 hour number hard to believe.

1 - Depends on how you define "hour". Only scientists use 3600 seconds for it. School teachers or driving instructors long ago already introduced the 45min hour. So adjusting the duration of an hour to your specific needs is hence a well established practice. I'm curious how long the actual Apple iPad hour will turn our to be.
